Corrie, Rochester/ Eastown

Enjoy beauty.
Do good.
Love truth.
(and never stop learning.)

When you travel to a new place, shop at the local markets and eat the local food. Culture is built around our basic human functions - eating is one of them. Humans share this basic need, but express its fulfillment in some many diverse and creative ways.

Specific fact: "kelewele" is a fried plantain snack, spiced with ginger and pepper and native to West Africa. Best enjoyed with groundnuts, Star (a brand of beer from Ghana) and a good companion.

Also, the item on displaying the women's restroom of this coffee shop is used to sweep kitchen floors in Ghana?
