The reason one uses the term “layed” for describing a sexual encounter is because of Chicago’s most famous bordello called The Everleigh Club located in Chicago’s South Side Levee district.
The original phrase was “Getting Evesleighghed”, which was subsecquiently shortened and vulgarized.
“Getting Evenleighed” to “Getting layed”
and now you knowww!
