- A dimension is not a place, but rather a "point of view" of sorts.
- We exist in at least 3 dimensions, and our senses can only detect 3 dimensions
- Although we can only sense 3 dimensions, we are affected by and ca observe the effects of other dimensions. For example, relativity theory suggests that time is the fourth dimension of space and an attribrute of matter.

Everything in this world is made of 1 - dimensional slices of 2 - dimensional objects that exist in 11 dimensions. This is called string theory. With string theory, one could suggest that there are an infinited number of dimensions. However,to even begin to understand this, one must understand a few things;
